Storytelling =
-You create characters (with motives),
-Put them in situations (to reach an outcome)
-To communicate your key idea/message (moral of the story)

= What is your story about?



Storytelling Techniques:
1. Journal
2. Problem - Solution
    Example: Tv commercials for housewives
3. question - Answer
    Example: The Bourne Identity
4. Goal - Achievement

Quick tips:
-Focus on the story angle
-Believable
   Examples: 
   Bad movies: Sharktopus
   Good movies: Tom and Jerry
                Transformers
-Write for your target audience
-write about people, for people
-use conflicts, obstacles, drama, action
Keep it simple!!!
Practice makes perfect!

Creating your character:
1. give your character a name
2. ko=now your character (you can also draw your character)
3. what does your character want/need (motive)?
4. how does your character behave and react in a situation?
5. what is the role of your character?

-Profile - age, race, background
-Nature/Personality
-Thoughts, Attributes, Values, Beliefs
-Behavior/Reaction
-Likes/Dislikes, Interests/Pet Peeves
-Strengths/Talents, Weaknesses

-Motives/Objectives
-Role of your character

Act 2: He has to finish his chores and overcome obstacles while rushing to the concert, such as, running away from a hound of dogs, taking pictures for a group of Elvis Presley impersonations

Act 1: A flock of birds rest on a electric wire and gets too crowded. A strange looking bird then decides to join them
Act 2: Unhappy about the stranger's presence, they do all ways to chase him by pecking his toes to let go the electric wire
Act 3: However, the birds were catapulted with their feathers are stripped away and are embarrassed about their nakedness.

Act 1: The big bird wants to join in the group of birds so that he can be friends. However was laughed at due to his strange looks.
Act 2: He tries to bulged in and tries to blend with them but was rejected.
Act 3: The birds were catapulted and he laughs back at them due to their nakedness

Act 1: 3 characters test out whose fart is the biggest and the T-rex tries his try first
Act 2: The smaller dinosaur tries manages to do better than the T-rex
Act 3: The pig farts unexpectedly and knocks out the other 2 because of the stench.
